Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground venison
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 oz baby bella mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 oz brie cheese
  • 4 Brioche buns
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Pre-heat an outdoor grill.
  • In a bowl, combine the ground venison, granulated garlic, onion powder, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 4 equally sized patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced mushrooms, butter and olive oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes without stirring. Stir and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes or until mostly golden brown on all sides. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat when done.
  • Set the patties on the grill grates for about 5-6 minutes per side. Top each patty with a slice of the brie cheese and top with mushrooms. Continue grilling until cheese is melted.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the insides of the brioche buns and set on the grill grate until toasted.
  • Build your burger and enjoy.
